Web development is a five phase process that is presented to our customers. At the end of each phase there is a phase exit review with our customer. Once customer approves, we move to the next project phase. As we go through the development phases, our customers have access to their web under development by providing them with a test location under our server to view the progress of web. The five phases are the following:
- Voice of the customer:
In this phase we collect all customer requirements and expectations and we make sure we fully understood them by going back to the customer with our understanding through our business proposal document.
- Graphics Design:
We transform our understanding of customer requirements into technical specification that is presented in a graphics web page. Once it is approved by the customer we move to the next phase.
- Website Development/Coding:
The software to run the website functions is designed and coded in this phase. This is the phase that transforms the web from just a picture into a functional web that includes all customers’ requirements. Through the special access to our website the customer can review all coded functions. Once these functions are approved, we move to the next phase.
- Testing:
All approved Website functions are tested thoroughly during this phase.
- Launch Phase:
After the website has been launched, more tests are performed to make sure all functions are working under the hosting server.
After the website has been launched, our team will stay close with our customers for no more than two weeks to train and perform any minor changes/adjustments. Any major changes after the launch require a new quote.
